I Have a Tree
Before your tree is hauled off or chipped into oblivion, let us evaluate whether it can have a higher-value local use.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Tell us about your tree
Share its location, photographs, approximate diameter, species if known, and whether it is standing or already removed.
2. AFP evaluates its recovery potential
We review whether the tree may be suitable for lumber, woodworking, or another beneficial use. This preliminary review does not guarantee acceptance.
3. We connect you with a tree-service partner
If removal is needed, AFP can refer one or more vetted, insured tree-service partners familiar with recovery requirements.
4. You hire the tree service directly
The tree service provides its own estimate and contracts with you independently.
5. Suitable logs are delivered or collected
AFP and the tree service coordinate log lengths, handling, delivery, and any necessary pickup before transport.
6. AFP confirms the processing plan
After inspecting the material, we provide appropriate options and pricing for sawmilling, vacuum kiln drying, sterilization, flattening, or other uses.
Contact AFP before cutting logs to length or arranging delivery. Final acceptance depends on inspection of the material.
