Pricing starts at $0.20 per board foot per day for dimensional lumber and $0.30 per board foot per day for live-edge slabs. Properly dried wood is essential for stable, long-lasting projects. Our vacuum kiln removes moisture efficiently while preserving the wood’s natural color and character. We can dry slabs and boards up to 20 feet long. Drying time varies by species, thickness, starting moisture content, and target moisture level; most cycles take approximately 14–45 days. Sterilization-only cycles are available for lumber that is already dry but requires a controlled heat cycle to address insects or other biological concerns.
